CAMAS CARNIVAL

This is a special Camas Bulletin all about the Camas Carnival!

It’s almost time for The Camas Carnival! This is one of our favorite community events at Camas, it is also the primary fundraiser for our school, with funds raised going directly into our Camas Cares Fund. The Camas Cares Fund directly helps support student success by providing funding for classroom and teacher supplies, Project Based Learning Grants, teacher and staff appreciation, mutual aid for community members, books and supplies for our library, and much more!

We will have an inflatable obstacle course, soccer & basketball games, a performance by the Camas Unicycle Club, music, food trucks, bake sale, plant sale, face painting, raffle baskets & bubble magic!

TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE ONLINE *NOW* UNTIL 11:59PM ON THURSDAY MAY 28TH!

After Thursday, May 28th, tickets & entry bracelets must be purchased at the gates.

Carnival Entry Bracelets:

A carnival entry bracelet is required to enter the event. Your bracelet allows access to the grounds and includes unlimited play on all of the carnival games, including the photobooth, the obstacle course, basketball game & soccer games.

If your family needs support to attend, please reach out to your classroom teacher or our school counselor Esther Moen (moen_e@4j.lane.edu).

Carnival Tickets:

Tickets are needed to purchase items at the plant sale, bake sale, face painting, popcorn and most importantly to enter to win a classroom Raffle Basket!

Costs:

Plants: 2-10+ tickets
Bake Sale items: 1 - 5 tickets/item
Bag of Popcorn: 1 ticket
Raffle Basket Entry: 1 ticket
Face Painting: 2 tickets

Volunteer Signup

We can't make our Camas Carnival magic without community support! And we really need more volunteers!! Shifts are one hour long, sign-up with a friend! Middle & high school Camas alums are encouraged to volunteer. We offer free Carnival entry to all student volunteers!

Do you make the best brownies ever? We need community members to donate baked goods to our Carnival Bake Sale! Donations can be homemade or store bought!

You are welcome to bring a picnic & eat on the field! There will also be some incredible vendors on site selling a variety of foods:

Naan Stop: Indian food, with lots of vegetarian options!
Kona Shave Ice: Shaved Ice, tons of flavors.
Amaya's Taqueria: Camas Family Owned, delicious Mexican food.
Bobalastic Bubble Tea: Boba Tea Drinks, orange chicken, nachos & more!

Silent Auction

Our silent auction will kick off at the Camas Carnival, with bidding being open thru the weekend. These items have been generously donated by our incredible Camas community & include handmade art, jewelry, local theater experiences, classes & so much more!!

Funds raised by the silent auction will help pay for things like classroom and teacher school supplies, class field trips, art block projects, new books for the school library, Teacher Grants & so much more!
